Bishop Auckland is a historic market town in County Durham, North East England, located about 12 miles southwest of Durham city. It sits at the meeting point of the River Wear and River Gaunless and has a rich religious and industrial heritage. It is close to scenic locations like the Wear Valley and Hamsterley Forest, which are great for walking, cycling, and nature lovers. Escomb Church, just outside the town, is one of the best-preserved Anglo-Saxon churches in England. Bishop Auckland has a proud footballing heritage, historically seen as a “home of amateur football” in England.
I started my journey in care in 2005 and have worked my way up to a Home Manager, it is such a rewarding job.
We give our residents the love and support they need everyday. The reaction and affection we get back goes above and beyond any expectations.
