Harrogate, located in North Yorkshire, is an elegant and historic spa town renowned for its beautiful architecture, landscaped gardens, and refined atmosphere. It’s consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the UK, offering a blend of heritage, nature, and modern amenities.
Harrogate blends spa-town elegance, natural beauty, and modern comfort. Whether you’re interested in history, gardens, boutique shopping, or exploring the Yorkshire countryside, it’s a standout destination in Northern England.
I qualified as a nurse in 2000, after working as a paramedic with the Red Cross during the war in Lebanon inspired me to start a career in nursing.
Over the years I’ve worked in a range of roles, including head nurse for the private medical team of the President of the United Arab Emirates. I also worked in both the A&E and surgery departments at the American University Hospital, a highly accredited institution, in Beirut. I’ve managed an ophthalmology clinic too, where I assisted with laser eye surgeries and other procedures.
In total I’ve been in nursing for 25 years — but my passion is elderly care and The Granby is the perfect place for me.
