Some of the team at Cromwell Court Care Home are celebrating after successfully completing the ‘Six Steps to Success’ End of Life Care Programme, a nationally recognised training initiative designed to enhance the quality of end of life care provided in care homes.
The programme supports care professionals in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver compassionate, person-centred care for residents approaching the end of their lives. Through a structured learning pathway, staff explore best practices in communication, care planning, coordination, and bereavement support, ensuring that residents’ individual wishes are respected and that families receive comfort and reassurance during difficult times.
By completing the programme, the Cromwell Court team have demonstrated their commitment to excellence, empathy, and continuous improvement in care delivery. Their achievement highlights Harbour Healthcare’s dedication to supporting its teams in delivering the highest possible standards of care.
“The Six Steps to Success programme has taught me so much and strengthened my confidence in providing quality care.” – Rodica, Healthcare Assistant at Cromwell Court
Operations Director Geoff Edwards visited Cromwell Court to personally present certificates and gift vouchers to the team members who completed the training, congratulating them on their outstanding effort and dedication.
Harbour Healthcare is incredibly proud of the Cromwell Court team for their hard work and passion in achieving this important milestone. Their accomplishment reflects the organisation’s ongoing mission to ensure every resident receives exceptional care throughout every stage of life.
