However what makes this a ‘home away from home’ is the team of well- trained and qualified staff, taking pride in delivering a friendly and caring service to both residents and their families, who work hard to support residents independence, maintain their dignity and give choice in all areas of care and support. Our person-centred approach to care allows us to really get to know the people we care for and understand what’s right for them. We encourage residents and their loved ones to get involved with individualised care and support planning, so that we can provide the best services possible.
The home is able to accommodate residents who require both residential and nursing care. Residents who need the care and support of a nurse 24 hours a day are supported by an experienced nursing team. They, in turn, have the support of external clinical professionals who visit the home to give specialist medical advice, as necessary. This ensures the best of nursing care is delivered and residents feel safe and secure in our care.
Remaining active is a huge part of any individual’s well-being and at Hilltop Hall there are daily activities to suit everyone’s interests. Residents have the opportunity to attend group and hobby activity sessions, enjoy visits from outside entertainers as well as quieter, individual interests. There is also the opportunity to go out and about in the minibus to places of interest, the choice is yours!
The garden, decking area and lawns around the home are available for those who like to be outside and enjoy the fresh air – all are easily accessible. If you are, or have been, a keen gardener then your help or advice will be gratefully received, there is a lot to look after!
In addition to the 2 large well-appointed lounges and other well-appointed seating areas home has 2 dining rooms in which residents can enjoy their meals. The menu is varied and the meals cooked from fresh ingredients. Of course, we are able to accommodate special menu choices for those who need adapted dietary choices.
Life at our home is composed of many key elements, not least of all, a dedicated team who strive to deliver high quality care, exciting activities and delicious food for the individuals we support. These services are enhanced by our excellent facilities, which serve to make residents’ time here as comfortable.

Dad was discharged from the hospital following a car accident. He was pleased to be able to go to Hilltop Hall because he had known it from visiting friends there and he was well looked after from start to finish. The staff who cared for him were excellent; we couldn't have asked for more and any issues which he raised were dealt with promptly and fairly by the management team at the home. My sister and I were very pleased with that he had a regular care team who got to know him, and us; that really helped. And the ability to personalise his room was really helpful too. Although we weren't able to visit him during his last days because of Government restrictions (the options which we were offered were appreciated but wouldn't really have worked for Dad if he'd even been able to be aware of our presence), the support and information that we received was very good and made a tough time as good as it could be. Thanks.
